  1. The Santa Monica Farmers' Market is divided into three sections: Downtown Santa Monica Market, Pico Boulevard Market, and Main Street Market.


    Each market is known for a particular type of produce and specialty; the Downtown market is regarded as the "organic market," the Pico Boulevard market is noted for its excellent, wild local seafood, and the Main Street market is a favorite among local families. The Downtown Market is open every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Pico Boulevard Market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Main Street Market is open every Sunday from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

    The Rose Bowl Flea Market is held on the second Sunday of each month, from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., and admission is $10 per person (not including children below 12). The market is quite popular, so arrive before 9 a.m. or get pre-booked tickets online to avoid long lines at the gate.
