It is the world's third-oldest airline still in operation, founded in November 1920; it began international passenger flights in May 1935.   13. Delta Air Lines, Inc is one of the major airlines of the United States and a legacy carrier. One of the world's oldest airlines in operation, Delta is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.   14. China Southern Airlines Company Limited has headquarters in Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, established on 1 July 1988. The airline became one of China's "Big Three" airlines, the world's sixth-largest airline measured by passengers carried and Asia's largest airline in fleet size, revenue, and passengers carried.
