When compared to other well-known shopping destinations with the same and/or similar brands, Solana is a respectable area to shop because there aren't as many people around. a wide range of domestic and international brands and fashions, from upmarket names like Daniel Hechter and White Collar to fashionable retailers like Zara, Mango, Motivi, and Only. There are also numerous home décor shops dotted about the town where you can buy candles, throw cushions, picture frames, vases, and other items.

There are a few places worth mentioning, however most of the venues are on the pricey side and have questionable cuisine and service standards. The Water Bar and Restaurant has a great location by the lake, which is a plus, but they also have some nice pieces of fish and steak on the menu as well as fresh greens and good veggie side dishes. Maxim's, a well-known French restaurant that does everything to perfection, is another nice option.
