  2. Kim So-hyun's latest drama tells the story of Nok-du, a male who disguises himself as a woman in order to live in a widow-only community, and Dong-ju, a gisaeng trainee whom Nok-du adopts as his daughter. Though they started out as a comical "mother-and-daughter" connection, the two characters developed love feelings for one other, and the narrative deepens as they learn the truth about their identities. It's a promising drama that will not only make you laugh but will also give you heart-racing love sequences and lovely encounters between the two.

Because of its distinctiveness, The Tale of Nokdu attracted notice and appeal. The highlight of Kim So-hyun's character is her short, bob-cut hair, which is not normal in Joseon's female age style, and Jang Dong-yoon's portrayal of a female widow is simply too gorgeous and irresistibly captivating. Above all, their combustible chemistry is what draws viewers into this series. It's lovely to witness her interacting with her co-star as if they were siblings! Because they are so at ease with each other, they have the finest on-screen and off-screen chemistry. This is, without a doubt, one of her greatest plays to date.

  4. Radio Romance is a contemporary drama about Song Geu-rim, a lady who is motivated to compose radio programs. She is a dedicated lady who excels at planning, but she lacks one essential skill: writing ability. Kim So-hyun gets a new style for this drama, with frizzy and unkempt chocolate hair that screams "working lady". It's also a welcome change from her typical high school student and Joseon Agassi roles. Yoon Doo-joon, the frontman of K-Pop boy band Highlight (formerly Beast), is her co-lead here. He played Ji Soo-ho, an actor turned DJ who suffers from depression and sleeplessness as a result of family troubles.

Yoon Park plays Lee Gang, the radio show's fastidious PD, and Yura (Girls' Day) plays Jin Tae-ri, an infamous actress. The narrative is simple, yet it offers a lesson about life and love and shows us what true happiness is. The supporting players, particularly Nam Da-reum as young Soo-ho, were excellent. If you're looking for some touching stories, this is a fantastic light drama to watch.

  5. The Emperor: Owner of the Mask (also known as Ruler: Master of the Mask) is highly promoted as a young period drama, and it was most likely one of the most popular historical dramas in which Kim So-hyun featured. The plot revolves around Crown Prince Lee Sun (Yoo Seung-ho) and his struggle against a rich group that manipulates and controls power and influence in Joseon. While disguised as a commoner, he allowed a commoner named Lee Sun (played by Kim Myung-soo) to take over his palace responsibilities and act on his behalf when he was outside the palace.

He encountered a lovely lady, Han Ga-eun (played by Kim So-hyun), while trying to combat political opponents, but in order to win, he required the support of a wise and brave woman, Kim Hwa-gun (played by Yoon So-hee). The performers are extremely good, and their abilities are what keep you watching this drama. Of course, spectators love seeing their gorgeous Kim So-hyun dressed as a noble agassi!

  6. Kim So-hyun had a brief but memorable appearance as a youthful Queen Kim Sun in the 2016 drama Goblin, leaving a lasting impression of her wonderful character. She isn't in the main or a supporting part, yet her brief cameo is remarkable. The sageuk goddess, as predicted, nailed the flashback moments while looking so exquisitely gorgeous in the queen's robe, and while her scene lasted only a minute, the impression she made on our hearts and thoughts lasted a very long time.

You've seen her in numerous Joseon period dramas, but with her stylish haircut, she effortlessly appeared in Goryeo-era clothes. While she plays the young queen, actor Kim Min-jae plays the obstinate young King Wang Yeo, and both have been hailed for their brief but outstanding performances.

  7. One of Kim So-hyun's favorite parts is Kim Hyun-ji's interesting persona as a cutie pie wandering soul. Despite the drama's gloomy and eerie atmosphere due to its horror and mystery genres, her rom-com acting abilities and her fresh, youthful appearance made the show rather fascinating to watch. Kim Hyun-ji is a middle school kid who was involved in an automobile accident. She has now evolved into a playful ghost, wandering around with no recollection of her past. Then she meets Park Bong-pal (Ok Taecyeon), a lonely college student with the capacity to see her.

Their quest begins with Bong-pal assisting Hyun-ji in recovering her lost memories while battling the bad opponents along the way. This drama has eerie effects that give you goosebumps when you watch it late at night, yet many fans think it's tolerable because the performers are all excellent. Overall, audiences appreciated seeing young Kim So-hyun in both comic and action roles. She was also able to conceal the age difference between herself and her male protagonist, Taecyeon, because of their strong chemistry and pleasant atmosphere.

Each of them has personal issues and terrible tales that are represented in the series, which teaches viewers the value of having a happy family unit.

With challenges and issues brought to the utmost degree, such as infidelity, suicide, vengeance, and rebellion, this play cannot be warm, but the message it implies is too powerful to ignore.
