1QNAP TS-251 2-Bay Personal Cloud
The majority of earlier NAS models were appropriate for small-scale business or domestic usage. The QNAP TS-251 is similar in certain aspects. Its expandability is limited to two independent drives because it only has two bays. It is one of the best NAS (Network Attached Storage) devices. But compared to earlier models, the TS-251's capabilities have much enhanced, so you can accomplish more with this NAS than with less expensive ones.
It has a quicker and better processor. The Intel Celeron is a low-end computer CPU, although it has enough power for a Network Access Point (NAS). With a dual-core CPU operating at 2.41GHz, file access and data transfer are substantially faster. In comparison to less expensive variants, RAM is also better. Upgrading the 1GB of RAM that comes with the TS-251 to 8GB is possible. The TS-251 can be used for real-time video transcoding. Its performance can be enhanced by running it as a virtual machine by upgrading its RAM to 2GB. The NAS may be configured with up to 20TB of storage (two 10TB drives) and can run in RAID 1.
