Academia de Muzica, Teatru si Arte Plastice (Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts) was founded in 1940 and is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the city of Chisinau (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants).

Academia de Muzica, Teatru si Arte Plastice (AMTAP) is a relatively tiny (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational Moldovan higher education institution that was officially recognized by the Ministerul Educatiei a Republicii Moldova (Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova).

The Academia de Muzica, Teatru si Arte Plastice (AMTAP) offers courses and programs in a variety of fields that lead to officially recognized higher education degrees. This 80-year-old Moldovan university has a selective admission procedure based on entrance exams. This Moldovan higher education school is the least selective, with an admission rate of 90-100 percent.
