Acapello
Acapello is the largest Aveda beauty salon in Maine, with facilities in Falmouth, Scarborough, Freeport, and Yarmouth. It is also the second Aveda shop on our list. It first opened its doors in 1995, and since then, it has been the go-to spot for individuals looking to add a dash of color to their lives – specifically, their hair. This isn't a cozy boutique salon where you can have the entire staff to yourself; instead, it's a bright, colorful space that exudes good vibes and good times.
Young people are drawn to the clean interior design with straight lines and vintage-inspired yet modern furnishings, but senior clientele are equally welcome and find the perfect excuse to forget about their adolescent years. Hair is a big part of what they do, but they also provide facials, treatments, and cosmetics. The new guest haircuts are more than soothing, with free shampoo, conditioning, and blowout included. Without a doubt, one of Maine's top salon experiences.
