Ai Yori Aoshi
Kaoru Hanabishi is the heir to his family's business, and he is referred to as a "rich kid." But money can't buy happiness, when he was a young kid, his strict parents agreed that when he grew up, he would marry Aoi Sakuraba, his childhood friend who also came from a "rich and famous" family. That's how privileged money works; parents impose their old ways on their children.
Many years ago, Kaoru and Aoi got to know each other very well and developed a strong bond. However, as Kaoru enters adulthood, he makes a rebellious decision to distance himself from the Hanabishi family. He chooses to leave them behind and moves to Tokyo, seeking a simpler life as a college student.
One day he encounters a gorgeous but confused girl at a train station. As he tries to help her, he gradually finds that she is Aoi Sakuraba, his childhood friend who was scheduled to marry him by their families when they were both children.
While Kaoru was gone, the forced relationship had been called off, but Aoi was still devoted to him and came to Tokyo to marry him. Kaoru is startled at first, but eventually, they start to develop a love affair and they live happily ever after.
