Ajinomoto
Seasonings, interlayer insulating materials for semiconductor packages used in personal computers, cooking oils, frozen meals, drinks, sweeteners, amino acids, and medicines are all produced by Ajinomoto Co, a Japanese food and biotechnology company. Since 1909, the company's original monosodium glutamate (MSG) product, the first of its type, has been known as AJI-NO-MOTO. The corporation's headquarters are in Tokyo's Ch neighborhood.
In 1909, Ajinomoto began as a spice maker and has since evolved into a multinational food company with goods aimed at both Japanese and foreign consumers. The frozen food market generates more than $2 billion in sales for the corporation, which has 121 plants in 35 countries and territories.
In 1972, Ajinomoto joined the frozen food business with the goal of launching high-end goods that matched unmet customer demand in Japan. It has also begun exporting its frozen food goods to other regions of the world, as well as purchasing enterprises from other nations in order to broaden its worldwide reach.
