Al Zubarah Archaeological Site

As far as historical sites in Qatar, Al Zubarah needs no introduction. One of the most famous historical sites in Qatar, Al Zubarah is a fine example of a Gulf merchant town of the 18th and 19th centuries. The site can be found to the northwest of Doha, about 80 kilometers from the town.
