Alpine
Alpine, or Société des Automobiles Alpine SAS, is a French racing and sports vehicle manufacturer founded in 1955. Alpine is an automobile brand that was founded in 1954. Jean Rédélé, Alpine's creator, was previously a Dieppe garage owner who began to find success in motorsport with one of the few French automobiles made immediately after WWII, the Renault 4CV. Throughout its existence, the firm has been intimately associated with Renault, and it was purchased by it in 1973.
This less well-known French carmaker, formed in the late 1950s, would not be complete without mentioning it. Alpine is well-known for developing race and sports automobiles, and it gained worldwide acclaim shortly after World War II. Another reason for its appeal was its relationship with Renault, which manufactured engines for Alpine until purchasing it in the 1970s.
