Angkor Wat, one of the seven wonders recognized by UNESCO, is a symbol of Khmer culture. The temple astounds visitors both in terms of its grandeur and grandeur as well as its astonishing architectural details. Watching the sun goes down at one of the wonders of the world is undoubtedly an appealing thing to do once in your life. There are several spots to watch the sunset because of the 400 square kilometers of forests and temples in Angkor Wat:

• Phnom Bakheng: It is open until 7 pm., allowing visitors to view the sunset inside the structure rather than just from the outside. It's perched on top of a hill, so when the sun sets, you have an extremely stunning view of the countryside and the nearby temples.
• Pre Rup: Along with Phnom Bakheng, Pre Rup is one of the two temples that is open until 7 pm. Standing outside beside the road provides a reasonably good view of Pre Rup temple's sunset because the sun sets directly between its two front towers. Pre Rup, though, is one of Angkor Wat's higher temples, so if you step inside and ascend the temple, you'll have a different fantastic view of the sun sinking over the Cambodian jungles.
• Srah Srang: Although there isn't a temple in Srah Srang, you may watch the sun setting between the trees perfectly reflected on the pond. Without having to contend with tourist hoards, you may relax in the grass on the reservoir's bank and enjoy the sunset over the water.

The clouds settling in and the golden light reflecting off the temple make Angkor Wat sunset a stunning and gorgeous landscape. If you have time, try to come there for both sunrise and sunset!
