Angrej is a 2015 Indian Punjabi-language historical romance film directed by Simerjit Singh and produced by Aman Khatkar Productions and Arsara Films in collaboration with Dara Productions, J Studios, and Rhythm Boyz Entertainment. The film stars Amrinder Gill, Aditi Sharma, Sargun Mehta, and Binnu Dhillon, with music by Jaidev Kumar.

Set in the 1940s, the film tells the story of Jassa Singh (Amrinder Gill), a young Sikh man who falls in love with Maadho (Aditi Sharma), a young woman from a wealthy family. However, their relationship is forbidden by both of their families. When Jassa joins the British army to fight in World War II, Maadho is left behind to care for her sick mother.

After the war, Jassa returns to India and learns that Maadho has married a wealthy landowner. Devastated, Jassa leaves his village and begins to wander aimlessly. He eventually finds solace in the arms of Dhan Kaur (Sargun Mehta), a beautiful widow. However, their relationship is threatened by the arrival of a British officer (Binnu Dhillon) who falls in love with Dhan Kaur.

The film's title, Angrej, which means "Englishman" in Punjabi, refers to the British colonial presence in India during the time period in which the film is set. The film explores the themes of love, loss, and identity in the context of a society grappling with the impact of colonialism.
