This is the second course of the Developing APIs with Google Cloud's Apigee API Platform series. This course will teach you how to secure your APIs. You look into the security issues that your APIs will face. You will learn about OAuth, the most common REST API authorization method. JSON Web Tokens (JWTs) and federated security will be covered. You'll also learn how to protect against malicious requests, send requests safely over a public network, and secure your data for Apigee users.
Through a combination of lectures, hands-on labs, and supplemental materials, you will learn how to design, build, secure, deploy, and manage API solutions using Google Cloud's Apigee API Platform. The instructors will teach you how to properly secure your APIs by covering topics such as the types of OAuth, TLS, and SAML to name a few.
