Asian Hope International School
Asian Hope International School (AHIS) opened its doors in January 2010. It has subsequently grown to a student body of nearly 600 kids, with classes ranging from Preschool to Year 12.
AHIS is committed to delivering a high-quality, child-centered education in a safe and welcoming Christian environment, ensuring that every child feels valued and deserving. Children at AHIS pursue a unique bilingual curriculum that combines the British National Curriculum with the Cambodian National Curriculum using an integrated Topic approach.
As a bilingual school for Cambodian students, classes are taught in both English and Khmer, allowing the children to understand and keep their culture while also preparing them to assume their place as global leaders. Teaching is done from a Christian perspective, but always in a very open and no-pressure environment, acknowledging that the children come from all religious backgrounds.
Asian Hope International School offers a school-wide house structure to encourage student participation and positive behavior. Students are allocated to a house group for the duration of their term at AHIS. Throughout the year, students gain points for their house in class and at special school-wide activities. Cambodian animals and provinces are used to name the houses.
AHIS is located on a lovely campus and offers a variety of facilities to help your child's education. It has light-filled roomy classrooms, two libraries, a Secondary Maker-space and scientific labs, a Primary STEAM room, dance room, theater, coffee shop, soccer field, volleyball court, playground, covered gym, and a 25m swimming pool throughout EY/Primary and Secondary buildings.
