Assagay Coffee

Assagay Coffee or Assagay Coffee Farm is one of the biggest coffee providers in South Africa. Assagay Coffee has been producing the finest specialty grade 100% Pure Arabica coffee for the last 30 years, earning it a spot in the list of best African coffee brands.

Assagay Coffee started out as a coffee farm that sells its coffee beans at Heidis Farm Stall and the Richdens Spar in Hillcrest. As its raw beans were of good quality and graded by The Natal Coffee Growers Association, the brand started seeing repeat orders and then gained its deserved attention. In 2002, the brand relocated its farm to a 100-acre farm in the Harrison Valley.

Some of the brand's best sellers include Assagay Coffee Medium Roast, Assagay Coffee Dark Roast, and Assagay Coffee Select Roast.

Especially, Assagay Coffee is known to be a brand that supports women and local residents, as all the work on the farm is done by a team of local women recruited in the Inchanga and Georgedale areas.
