Even though Wynwood is now developing at a bar-a-minute pace, the brand-new rooftop venue Astra is a newbie worth stopping by. The bar is the newest addition to the very small club of Wynwood rooftop venues, and at 10,000 square feet, it provides plenty of space for people-watching. Greek-inspired Astra has a retractable roof and seats over 350 people. It offers both food and beverages.

For food, visitors can choose from Greek fare including horiataki (a Greek salad), paidakia (grilled lamb chops), and more. Along with certain house-made drinks, the bar will also serve alcoholic Greek favorites like mastika and ouzo. Future special events planned by Astra include a weekend brunch, rooftop yoga, and other activities. Astra introduces a rooftop bar to a part of Wynwood that is still under construction. It was inspired by the vibrant lounges of Mykonos. The restaurant has 10,000 square feet of space and includes formal dining tables as well as more informal lounging areas for sipping and unwinding. You can actually see all the way to the Downtown skyline from Astra because there are no big structures obstructing your view.
