Asukayama Park Playground
As one of the oldest parks in Japan, Asukayama Park has ample space and playgrounds, making it an ideal place for young children to jog as well as take a leisurely stroll. The huge steep slide will be the highlight of the playground. If your baby prefers descending the elephant slide, you can climb a small mountain to reach and explore the castle, or build your own castle in a sand pit.
In addition, at Asukayama Park, there are swings, monkey bars, animal sculptures, and a water playground in summer. When the kids get bored of all this, you can take them on a tour of the old trams and steam locomotives nearby. Park also has toilets and diaper changing stations.
