The owner of Bakerella, Angie, focuses on simple and funny recipes. She started this website just because she want to help keep track of her baking and decorating attempts. She got the bug after taking an introductory cake decorating class and just hasn’t stopped. This website was created as a place for everyone to explore recipes, desserts, decorating, and even photography with a few giveaways sprinkled in along the way. You’ll find ideas for cupcake pops (a Bakerella creation), cakes, pies, cupcakes, cookies, and brownies, ... Angie hopes that everyone may even find themselves smiling from all the sweetness.

About the interface, Bakerella has a clean and easy-to-navigate design, with a search bar at the top of the page that allows users to search for recipes just by keyword, ingredient, or dietary restriction. On the home screen of the website, you will find the most recently added recipe, along with instructions.
