Established by Ross Baldwin in 1960, Baldwin Beauty Schools is proud to be Austin's leading cosmetology education provider. Mr. Baldwin, a great mentor to young individuals, started something special that continues today. This school has graduated more students than any other cosmetology program in the area, and many salons in central Texas began with us.
Baldwin Beauty Schools give students a quality education in Cosmetology, Esthetician, and Manicurist training programs. Their professional staff and administration focus on job training, teaching strong core business values to help students find jobs in the beauty industry.
Baldwin Beauty Schools works with Pivot Point International, a global leader in beauty education, to provide excellent instructional materials. Through their leadership and teaching style, students get hands-on experience in the student salon and learn a lot of theoretical knowledge. Their main goal is to help students start successful careers.
Along with cosmetology, Baldwin Beauty Schools offers a 22-week advanced skincare and body treatment course. This course combines classroom learning with practical experience in their Student Salon, which is open to the public. They use PCA Skin and Sanitas products. The tuition at Baldwin Beauty Schools is $8,600, with an additional $600 for training kits and books and a $100 enrollment fee. This makes the total $9,300 to complete the esthetics program at these schools.
