Bangkok Patana School
Bangkok Patana School was established 60 years ago, in the garden playhouse of the founder, Rosamund Stuetzel. She had the vision to keep families together while ensuring children were able to attain an education equivalent to one that could be gained in the UK.
That vision has continued to develop and has seen the school expand from its original 28 students through three campuses to the existing site where it now provides an education for over 2,200 students. As one of the best IB schools in Bangkok, the Bangkok Patana School community is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its students. It is a not-for-profit IB world school, accredited by CIS as well.
The school's guiding mission is to ensure that students of different nationalities grow to their full potential as independent learners in a caring British international community. In today’s rapidly changing and challenging world, it believes the school’s primary task is to foster in its community a life-long love of learning and a sense of responsible citizenship.
That's why the educational programs are designed to develop the understanding, skills, and attitudes that support this. It moves through the processes of inquiry, discussion, decision-making, and reflection, and develops an understanding of itself, of other people, and of the world.
Moreover, Bangkok Patana School offers a wide range of extracurricular activities (ECA) to students from FS2 – Year 13 across four activity blocks that run throughout the academic year. Around 400 options a week, at recreational and internationally recognized levels, are available to students including sports, visual and fine arts, community service, languages, technology, and more.
