Located in North Beach Oceanside Park, which used to be called the North Shore Open Space Park, this puptastic spot has the sun and sand your dog is craving! Your dog will love lounging in the sun, crushing the sand castle you've built, or getting their paws wet on this furbulous stretch of sand! And Bark Beach is the best dog beach in Miami.

The entire beach area along the North Beach Oceanside Park is generally off limits to pooches. But on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 1:30 PM and 5:30 PM, the section located between 80th and 81st Streets becomes an off leash pupperdise! That's right, your dog can romp in the sand and splash in the water during these special dog-designated hours, just be sure they keep within the dog beach area. You can bring up to two dogs at a time, so long as they are vaccinated and licensed, and wearing their tags on their collars. While your dog can run without a leash, do keep it in hand while at the beach, and on your dog when entering and exiting it, as well as in the rest of the park. And always have clean-up bags handy to promptly pick up anything your dog leaves behind.
