Bathing Lagoon

The greatest beach in the Kiritimati atoll is Bathing Lagoon. Because this is an inside lagoon, there are hardly any waves and the water is crystal clean. Sun loungers and parasols are also very uncommon (by Kiritimati standards) beach vacation features. Sand and coral chips cover the beach and seafloor. One of Kiribati's nicest beaches is Bathing Lagoon, which is bordered by coconut palms and a crystal clear sea. It's on Kiritimati, the world's largest coral island. Bathing Lagoon is easily accessible from the airport via taxi or rented automobile.

The Bathing Lagoon is surrounded by white sand and is situated on the edge of a secluded lagoon. The water is crystal clear and there are no waves. Because the lagoon's bottom is covered in sand and coral fragments, it's best to enter the water barefoot. The beach is furnished with beach umbrellas and sun loungers, and a hotel is located near the beach. Tourists can take magnificent pictures, go sea fishing, take a boat tour, sunbathe and swim, and learn about the local culture at Bathing Lagoon.
