Bayer AG
Bayer AG is a German multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences corporation and one of the world's major pharmaceutical corporations. Bayer, headquartered in Leverkusen, sells medicines, consumer healthcare items, agricultural chemicals, seeds, and biotechnology products.
Bayer was started in 1863 in Barmen by dye salesman Friedrich Bayer and dyer Friedrich Weskott as a partnership. The firm began as a dyestuffs maker, as was usual at the time. Because of the adaptability of aniline chemistry, Bayer expanded their company into other sectors, and in 1899, they introduced the molecule acetylsalicylic acid under the trademarked name Aspirin. Bayer secured a trademark for the "Bayer Cross" emblem in 1904, which was then imprinted into each aspirin tablet, resulting in an iconic product that is being produced by Bayer today.
Bayer addresses some of the world's most serious global concerns and is always looking for innovative ways to solve them. The population is always expanding and getting older. That is why it requires improved treatments and appropriate quantities of high-quality food.
