Baylor Scott & White Pharmacy is a retail/outpatient pharmacy that operates similarly to your neighborhood pharmacy. Their Gaston Avenue facility in Dallas is open to the public and accepts most pharmacy insurance plans. It was formed in 2013 when Baylor Health Care System and Scott & White Healthcare merged to form the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Texas and one of the largest in the United States.

Baylor Scott & White now boasts 52 hospitals, over 800 patient care locations, over 7,300 active physicians, over 49,000 workers, and the Scott & White Health Plan. Their pharmacists and team members are on hand to answer any queries you may have concerning new or existing medications. All Baylor Scott & White pharmacies accept most pharmacy insurance plans.

Prescriptions for patients who are being discharged from the hospital may be filled before they depart. When patients are allowed to take their prescription medication as soon as feasible after discharge, they often have a better outcome and recover faster. Any Baylor Scott & White patient admitted to the hospital can receive free bedside delivery of their discharge meds through Pharmacy Medication Concierge. If you prefer, a pharmacy representative will contact you on the day of your discharge to arrange for your medications to be filled and delivered to your room.
