A California mom started this company after realizing there were not any organic ted d y bears out there. When she became a mother of twins, her worldview totally shifted. The only important thing was the health and well being of two little ones. She wanted to give them the best; the healthiest organic foods and of course the safest toys and clothes. That’s when she decided to make safe, soft and certified organic toys for children. Together she has spent the last 4 years tirelessly developing manufacturing methods to bring safe certified organic toys and gifts to the world.
Bears for Humanity's mission is to manufacture safe and Eco-friendly organic products, protect the environment, create fair trade living wage jobs, and give back to causes for children, animals, and the environment. The company manufactures Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified organic plush toys, gifts and apparel souvenirs made from with zero chemicals, pesticides or heavy metals. The products are hand sewn and stuffed with love by women and men from under served communities.
