Beke began her beauty journey in New York City, working as an assistant to cosmetics mogul Laura Geller. She later freelanced for makeup artist Kimara Ahnert.

Beke earned her Master's degree from Harvard Divinity School and is the author of the blog Beauty Sageist. She is also a licensed esthetician and founded the Paint School of Makeup in Philadelphia in 2019.
