Bengal Bay
Rishabh Gupta established Bengal Bay with the intention of creating a tonic brand that prioritizes its ingredients. To achieve this, he carefully selected organic ingredients and employed a cold blending technique to produce a tonic that possesses a harmonious flavor and smoothness. During the development process, Gupta experimented with more than 100 recipes and flavors. Through this exploration, he discovered that the ideal method to enhance the taste of any spirit is by employing a subtle foundation composed of a blend of herbal and citrus elements.
Consequently, he incorporated organic cardamom and sweet orange into the formula, distinguishing Bengal Bay from other brands. Bengal Bay offers two variations of tonic water: the Indian tonic water, which features a subtle hint of cardamom and concludes with a refreshing citrus aftertaste, as well as a flavored option known as spiced orange & basil tonic water. The latter utilizes organic mandarin oranges sourced from Coorg, cardamom from Kerala, and basil from Uttar Pradesh, resulting in a delicate balance of flavors.
