Bird Woman Falls
Bird Woman Falls is located in Glacier National Park in Montana, United States. The Going-to-the-Sun Road, which divides the park east to west, is located two miles (3.2 km) away and provides easy access to the falls. On Mount Oberlin's north and west faces, there are snowfields and a relic glacier that provide water for the falls. The fall's flow is at its peak in the late spring and early summer, and it has been observed to practically stop in the fall.
Visitors should pay close attention to the unusual geology in Glacier National Park and the vicinity of the falls. This region was shaped by a glacier that existed hundreds of millions of years ago, creating the falls. The Going-to-the-Sun Road, which crosses the park from east to west, leads to Bird Woman Falls. From US Highway 2, visitors can enter the West Glacier and travel about two miles into the park. Bird Woman Falls is one of the most waterfalls in Montana.
