Black Bay

Beautiful Black Bay is within a 20-minute walk from the main road. This stunning stretch of black sandy shoreline is located just a short distance from St. John and is great for those looking to see the adjacent Black Cave and spend a day on a unique beach. The water may get fairly deep and hazardous just a few meters from the shore, but this spot is incredible!

If you want to recharge your batteries and unwind in between cruise destinations, Black Bay is an excellent alternative. The beach is fairly little, yet it is well worth your time. Black Bay is bordered by lush vegetation, which is ideal for locating refreshments and capturing stunning images. It's generally better if you don't bring any youngsters with you. Walking on foot may be too much for them, but there are plenty of other options in Grenada! If you arrive during the correct season, Black Bay is a fantastic site to see magnificent flowers and plants in their natural habitat. Pack a sandwich and plenty of water. You'll be able to spend the entire day here this way!
