Blue Earth Village
Blue Earth Village (BEV) is a developing educational and communal hub on East Bali's gorgeous Amed coast. BEV is a labor of love that is flourishing thanks to the perseverance of locals, long-term inhabitants, and their expanded international freediving and yoga community.
Blue Earth Village's goal is to offer an open, respectful space for mind/body education and socialization, as well as to contribute to the more significant effort to make Amed a green visitor destination...
The restaurant has some of the best views of Gunung Agung, and it has done its best to optimize these views while preserving the country's natural beauty. The structure is made of shipping containers, bamboo, and recyclable materials, with an appearance that resembles a cross between 21st-century Robinson Crusoe and the Ewok village from Star Wars.
The restaurant's seating is varied, ranging from tiny garden cubbies to cushioned bamboo decking and massive wooden round tables.
The study of yoga and the mind/body connection in the twenty-first century is one of the most interesting things happening today. The enthusiastic teachers use scuba diving, neuroplasticity, and modern brain science to guide students on their yogic journey. The sala is one of the most beautiful on the island, with breathtaking views of Gunung Agung.
Rooms are all unique and designed with comfort and style in mind. The old wooden house is made of Javanese wood and boasts a private garden and spacious terrace, and the two luxury rooms enjoy spectacular ocean and volcano views. Two adobe rooms have their own shared yoga shala upstairs, while the Dutch deco rooms have many thoughtful features and are ideal for couples or friends.
Air conditioning, hot water, tea and coffee-making facilities, bedside tables, wardrobes, reading lights, and private bathrooms with toilet, shower, sink, and drying rack are standard in all of the rooms.
