Bridges Virtual Academy
Bridges Virtual Academy (BVA) is a K4-12 virtual charter school serving students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. They are a public, accredited school for students living in the state of Wisconsin. BVA started in 2012 and has continued to educate students online for over 10 years! Students may enroll at the kindergarten level (4 years old) if their school district also has that corresponding grade level. Kindergarten through 12th grade for all students.
Bridges Virtual Academy's mission is to provide personalized virtual education that develops students into skilled, independent learners. They create an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) for each student. During this process, teachers work with students and parents to develop an educational plan that takes into account each student's academic level, learning style, and needs. They also provide multiple learning pathways for students and a structure that allows for differentiation and depth of knowledge in all curricular areas, helping students to explore and engage in learning opportunities unique.
