British International School Riyadh, one of the best international schools in Riyadh, is a co-educational international school in Saudi Arabia. It serves English-speaking boys and girls aged 3 to 18 and adheres to the UK National Curriculum. Currently, the Al Hamra site educates 1700 students aged 3 to 18, while the smaller Salwa facility educates 150 Primary children aged 3 to 11.
Approximately half of children have British passports, and over 90 different countries are represented at the school. The Council of International Schools (CIS) and the British Institution Overseas (BSO) have both accredited the institution. The British Schools of the Middle East (BSME), the Association of British Schools Overseas (AoBSO), the Heads Conference (HMC), and the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) are all members of BISR.
