Broome
Broome, also known as Rubibi by the Yawuru people, is a popular beach paradise and resort town located in Australia's Kimberley region, 1,681 km north of Perth. Ride a camel around Cable Beach and experience the feeling of being part of a painting as its silhouette is captured on a sunset canvas. Popular things to do include sunset camel rides along the sweeping shores of Cable Beach, basking on the beaches of Broome, kayaking, and whale-watching. Broome fishing is also fantastic–it's one of the top spots to cast a line in Australia.
You can visit the Broome Historical Museum, Broome Crocodile Park and Stairway to the Moon. From March to October, the moonlight paints a fantastic optical illusion of the stairway to the moon, a breathtaking sight! This sunset country is a wonderful place to experience at least once in a lifetime on a trip to Australia!
