Brunei History Center

If you are interested in history, this place is definitely not to be missed! More than just a research center rather than a museum, the Brunei Historical Center.

The Brunei Historical Center is a government organization that conducts research, documents, publishes, and disseminates information about Brunei's past. It was founded on 26 January 1982 1982 with King Hassanal Bolkiah's permission as a historical study center in Brunei for the benefit of the Bruneian people.

The Brunei Historical Center, originally opened its doors on January 26, 1982, which has all of the key items and data about Brunei's and Borneo's history. Besides, there is also a bookstore with fascinating historical Brunei materials. It has the best-stocked bookstore in Brunei, with volumes about Brunei's history and culture, including several in English. It's difficult to obtain English-language books about Brunei (particularly scholarly volumes), so if you're seeking for literature on Brunei's history or the history of its monarchs, this is a must-stop. Therefore, visitors who love Brunei’ history will definitely have a great experience when visiting this place as one of the most beautiful historical places in Brunei.
