Business Model Innovation Offered By HEC Paris introduces you to the Odyssey 3.14 approach, a ground-breaking framework for creating or reinventing business models.

Laurence Lehmann-Ortega and Hélène Musikas developed this extremely unique technique, which has proven to be a very useful methodology for start-up entrepreneurs, business unit managers, and intrapreneurs alike. It provides a realistic and highly productive framework and toolbox for developing, inventing, and reinventing business models in a systematic manner.

After that, 14 different directions are investigated in order to invent or reinvent a company model. "Reducing clients' overall costs," "changing the revenue stream," "introducing a third party," "eliminating a stage in the value chain," and "exploring new resources" are some of the directions. These orientations drive your imagination to rigorously examine all possible innovation paths, as illustrated by numerous examples, both iconic (Ikea, Tetra Pack, Grameen Bank...) and more modern (Airbnb, Zopa, Drive Now...).
