The Capital City Event Center is housed in the historic Adelmann Building in downtown Boise, which dates back to 1906. Personalization is how the dedicated workforce distinguishes themselves. They feel that the success of the couple's event is also their success, therefore they will provide personal touches, expert advise, and top-notch customer service throughout the process. From couples who desire complete DIY control to couples who want a passionate and motivated staff to assist them, Capital City can suit everyone. Those who do not want to engage the venue's award-winning culinary partners for catering must pay a fee for training their own caterer as well as a 20% catering management fee.

Each ballroom can hold up to 110 people. They have a 3,000-square-foot state-of-the-art kitchen with exceptional recommended caterers who can meet your individual and group needs. They may do as much or as little as you need as a full-service wedding venue to help you realize your vision. Your guests will have a true Boise experience thanks to the big city entertainment. Luncheons, meetings, classroom lectures and training, and client appreciation events are all held there. Weekday daytime rentals are only $175 per hour.
