CareSouth - Baton Rouge
CareSouth is a private not-for-profit Federally Qualified Health Center that provides a comprehensive range of community-based medical, dental and behavioral health services. Their health center is guided by a consumer-majority volunteer board of directors whose mission is to provide comprehensive, affordable, high quality health care with compassion and respect for all.
Their experienced team supplies a broad range of medical, dental, and behavioral health services at their main location in Baton Rouge and in satellite clinics located in Donaldsonville, Plaquemine, and Zachary, Louisiana. CareSouth also provides onsite behavioral services in two Charter USA Foundation schools.
Per the Louisiana Dept. of Health Notice #2020-COVID-19-ALL-020 revised July 2, 2020, the CareSouth Dental Dept. is executing all dental procedures that are emergent, time-sensitive and preventive in nature. This order takes effect throughout the Phase 2 Louisiana re-opening period. All dental patients are temperature checked, triaged and screened for COVID-19 symptoms at the door and required to wear a mask. They make every effort to ensure safe distancing in their waiting areas and clinic spaces when not performing patient treatment. CDC guidelines are strictly followed.
