Cascada de Sorrosal
With a double jump and a height of 120 meters, Cascada de Sorrosal is a substantial waterfall in the river Barranco del Sorrosal. This waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Spain.
In the Spanish province of Aragon-Huesca, Cascada de Sorrosal is situated on the western edge of the village of Broto and is conveniently accessible. Drive east across the N-260 from Biescas, then make a right in Broto (before crossing the river). The Cascata del Sorrosal is marked with a brown sign. There is parking available after 200 meters, but it can get busy during the summer.
The water is crystal clear and turquoise blue in color, and the surrounding cliffs are covered in lush vegetation, including ferns, mosses, and small trees. The sound of the water cascading over the rocks is both soothing and invigorating, creating a peaceful atmosphere in the area.
Visitors can access the waterfall via a short hiking trail that starts in the town of Broto. The trail is easy to follow and takes around 15-20 minutes to reach the waterfall. In addition to the waterfall, the area around Cascada de Sorrosal is also home to a variety of hiking trails and outdoor activities, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.
