Castle in the Clouds
The lovely historical estate of Castle in the Clouds, a vintage home wedding location in Moultonborough, New Hampshire. Thomas Gustave Plant, who worked in the shoe manufacturing industry, designed the arena in 1913. He was a millionaire who retired at the age of 51 and then went on to build this mansion after marrying in 1913. The Ossipee Mountains and Lake Winnipesaukee were among the properties he purchased for construction. Castle Preservation Society has owned and administered the estate since 2006, and it is open to the public. Today, couples can have their wedding at Castle in the Clouds, surrounded by J. Williams Beal & Sons of Boston's exquisite craftsmanship.
Castle in the Clouds can accommodate up to 175 wedding guests. Wedding couples can pick from four different event rooms when planning their wedding ceremony and reception. Outdoor weddings are an option, where couples and their guests will be surrounded by breathtaking views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the mountains. There are three possible places for events. The Lucknow Estate, The Carriage House, and The Winnipesaukee Room are among them. Guests will be transported to the quaint Carriage House Terrace by vintage trolleys, where they will be able to enjoy picturesque views of the surrounding area.
