Central World
Central World is a Bangkok, Thailand-based shopping mall and complex that first opened its doors in 1990. The complex, which includes an office tower and hotel, cinemas, and stores, is owned by Central Pattana. The entire floor area of this structure is roughly 1,024,000 square meters. The layout of the mall is based on the concept of street shopping. The mall is much more than a regular retail center; it appeals to the lives of young urbanites, families, and teenagers.
At the mall, people of all ages may find something to do. There is ice skating, shopping, a kids' section, and much more to enjoy and explore. The open space in front of Central World is usually humming with activity, from an open-air market to a culinary festival, but most importantly, it hosts Bangkok's largest countdown party, where thousands of locals and foreigners alike gather to celebrate every December 31.
