Chadstone Shopping Center

Chadstone Shopping Center is the largest shopping center located in Melbourne, Australia. It covers an area of 2 million square feet. Chadstone was also a major shopping center in Australia. When it opened in October 1960, it influenced the shopping patterns of the time, disrupting people's daily downtown shopping.


The fiberglass roof of Chadstone Shopping Center broke a few pins at the back, and the amphitheater reopened in the mid-1970s and 1980s. It currently has 510 stores, including Target, H&M, Aldi and Gap. Annual turnover (MAT) in 2013 was $1.4 billion. The international brands include the Apple Store, Target, Kmart, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Tiffany & Co and more.
