Chelsea Garden Center
The Chelsea Garden Center, despite its name, currently has two locations, one in Williamsburg and the other in Red Hook. This plant center has been "Beautifying New York since 1984". It first opened its 2,700-square-foot site in Chelsea in 1984 but has since moved due to a need for greater space and escalating commercial property rents. Both locations contain a do-it-all gardening shop with an old-school Brooklyn ambiance and lush greenery obtained primarily from local producers.
