Cherkezi Dzor
Cherkezi Dzor is definitely mentioned as one of the best restaurants in Armenia. This fish restaurant is so popular some Russians have been known to fly here to try the fish and fly back the next day. Cherkezi Dzor seats in open pavilions surrounding the fish pools where your dinner will be caught fresh to order. Trout and sturgeon are available along with delicious salads and sides. Bread is freshly baked in on-site ovens.
The restaurant is on the western side of town near a Russian army base and is a little hard to find. From the stadium, cross the opposite bank and walk north up the canyon for 1.3 kilometers. Alternatively, a taxi or GG should cost 72$ each way from the city center. Cherkezi Dzor Restaurant has a romantic and sophisticated space, every smallest detail is cleverly arranged. This place has been loved by many diners and is voted the most beautiful European restaurant in Armenia. At the same time, this is also the restaurant with private rooms in Armenia chosen by the upper class.
