China Mobile is one of the Largest 5g Technology Companies in China. It is one of the world's largest mobile network operators, with over 946 million subscribers as of June 2021. China Mobile offers mobile voice and data services, fixed-line broadband services, and other related communication services.
The company was founded in 1997 and was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) in 1997 and 2006, respectively. China Mobile is a constituent of the Hang Seng Index and the SSE 50 Index.
China Mobile operates in all 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and directly administered municipalities in Mainland China, as well as in Hong Kong and Macau. The company has also expanded internationally, with operations in 20 countries and regions, including Pakistan, Thailand, and South Africa.
As a leader in the Chinese telecommunications industry, China Mobile has been at the forefront of the development and deployment of 5G technology. The company launched its commercial 5G network in November 2019 and has since built out its 5G infrastructure to cover more than 340 cities in China.
