Chisinau City Day Festival
Hramul Chisinaului is another name for the festival. The festival, which commemorates the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, necessitates the closure of Chisinau's main street, Stefan cel Mare Blvd, in order to host a grand open air festival.
The day concludes with spectacular fireworks on the Great National Assembly square. Traditional wine and food are plentiful, and local handicrafts are sold, bought, gifted, and displayed. On this day, music, dance, costumes, and everything national are at their best.
Each festival represents a different aspect of Moldovan culture. However, the Chisinau City Day festival not only demonstrates that culture, but it is also one of Moldova's most well-known festivals. In addition to music, dance, and food, festivalgoers can enjoy a special fireworks display. Only from these facts can it be deduced that the Chisinau City Day festival is not only famous festival, but also held on a grand scale.
