Cinespia Cemetery Screenings is among the best outdoor theaters in Los Angeles. Cinespia is a Los Angeles-based organization that brings movie magic to life with screenings of classic films throughout the year to an audience of hundreds of thousands from all around the world, including some of Hollywood’s most famous faces. With over 30 events per year, Cinespia hosts dazzling screenings under the stars at iconic venues including The Hollywood Forever Cemetery, The Greek Theatre, and Los Angeles Historic Park. Cinespia also produces private screenings, fundraisers, concerts, television, and film premieres year-round outdoors and at the beloved Art Deco movie palaces of historic downtown Los Angeles’ theatre district.
You are welcome to pack your own picnic with food, beer, and wine. No hard liquor is permitted. Food will be sold onsite. Only ESA and service dogs on leashes are welcome at the screenings. You should bring blankets, pillows, or low chairs that have a seat that rests on the ground with a low back. Tall chairs are not allowed. There are no chairs allowed in the no-chair zone in the center of the field. Allowable chair height in chair zones is from ground to seat is 6″ and from seat to top of chair 21″.
