Cirque de Gavarnie Forest
Cirque de Gavarnie is a mountain cirque in the Pyrenees. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of France's most magnificent natural landscapes. Because of its vast size and distinctive design, which resembles an amphitheater, the gigantic cirque has even been referred to as the "Colosseum of nature."
This magnificent natural wonder is home to Europe's second-highest waterfall, enthralling pine woods, and some of France's most remarkable natural attractions. It's simple to understand why this is one of the greatest natural locations worth visiting in this interesting region, with its distinctive mountain passages and clefts between the cirque's extremely tall peaks.
