CI&T

CI&T is a multinational software engineering and information technology firm with offices in Brazil, the USA, Canada, the UK, Portugal, China, Colombia, Japan, and Australia. Industry specializations include automobiles, high technology, finance, insurance, manufacturing, media, retail, life sciences, and healthcare.

Established in 1995, CI&T started out as an IT team cooperating with R&D firms in software development before branching out to offer technical support to nearshore clients. IBM, HP, Vale, Natura, and Globo were among the firm's earliest customers. In 2002, CI&T and HP collaborated on a massive initiative to create a "electronic order fulfillment" system for the automated replenishment of stocks at major distribution centers.

As the company grew, it opened development centers in Brazil and China to better serve its international clientele, most of whom were from the United States, Brazil, Canada, and Japan. In 2004, it started collaborating with Drupal on application management projects, which grew into one of the largest Drupal installation engagements in the world and included application development and content management.
