Columbia University

Columbia University has a total undergraduate enrollment of 6,170 students (fall 2020), a city location, and a 36-acre campus. The total cost of tuition and fees is $63,530. Columbia University has three undergraduate schools, Columbia College, The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, and the School of General Studies, as well as a number of graduate and professional schools, including the highly ranked Business School, Teachers College, Law School, and College of Physicians and Surgeons, all of which are located in New York City. There is also a well-recognized College of Dental Medicine and a graduate Journalism School at the university.

Columbia University's main campus is in the Morningside Heights district of Manhattan on the Upper West Side of New York City. The Columbia University Medical Center, which houses the medical, nursing, dentistry, and public health colleges, is located in the Washington Heights district in northern Manhattan.

Columbia's approximately 90% of students reside on campus. Barnard College for Women, Union Theological Seminary, and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America are all linked with Columbia. Former President Barack Obama and founding father and first Supreme Court Chief Justice John Jay are among the distinguished alumni. The Pulitzer Prizes are likewise administered by Columbia.
